The villains that will be seen in the next Batman movie have been officially confirmed by Warner Brothers. For the third movie in the Chris Nolan saga titled The Dark Knight Rises we will be seeing Tom Hardy as Bane and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman.
Anne Hathaway is a pretty well known and established actress and I’m sure she will play a great Catwoman. If anything I’m sure I won’t mind seeing her in a tight fitting black Catwoman costume as long as Nolan goes more Michelle Pfeiffer and less Halle Berry.
Tom Hardy recently played Eames in Inception, another Christopher Nolan film. He is a strong actor and I am confident that he and Nolan will bring a more intelligent, character-driven Bane to the screen instead of the hulked out muscle head that most people are used to seeing. At any rate I’m sure we will not be seeing anything near what we saw in “Batman and Robin” and that in and of itself is a godsend.
